Connecting with us for an appointment
Calm Consultants is a fee for service practice, and we are unable to accept referrals for ‘Bulk Billed’ services.
We are currently accepting referrals for new clients.
C H O O S E H O W Y O U W I L L A C C E S S O U R S E R V I C E
There are many ways that you can access our service:
1. Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP): If you have a MHCP from your GP, you are entitled to 10 Medicare rebated appointments with a psychologist per calendar year.

2. WorkCover / CTP Claims: If you have an approved WorkCover or CTP claim, you can see any of our SIRA accredited clinicians.
3. Employee Assistance Programme (EAP): If your employer has approved EAP sessions, you can see a psychologist/counsellor.
4. National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Plan: If you have an NDIS plan (either self- or plan-managed), you can see a psychologist/provisional psychologist/counsellor.

5. Pay privately with no referral: If you do not have a referral, you may see a psychologist/provisional psychologist/counsellor.
Please note that in line with Calm Consultants policy, we are unable to provide letters or reports to guide the courts.

A P P O I N T M E N T R E M I N D E R S
Calm Consultants will send you a reminder email 7 days prior to any scheduled appointment as well as two SMS reminders – the first at 4 days prior to your appointment and the second at 2 days prior to your appointment.
This is a courtesy only and it is your personal responsibility to ensure that you cancel an appointment you are unable to attend outside of our cancellation period to avoid paying a fee.
C A N C E L L A T I O N P O L I C Y
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, we require 2 business days’ notice to ensure there is time to offer the vacant appointment slot to another client.
Cancellations or reschedules within this period will incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellations within 24-48 hours before your appointment will incur a fee equal to 50% of the session cost.
Cancellations within 0-24 hours before your appointment will incur a fee equal to entire cost of the session.

All of our clinicians are currently accepting new clients. Some, however, have a waitlist, and it may be a little while before we are able to schedule your initial appointment.
You will be supplied a copy of our Client Information and Consent form to complete at your initial session with us.
